Before Ghosts of Christmas (IDW Publishing) makes its ways into stores, Alan Robert’s best-selling coloring book series, The Beauty of Horror, has released the terrifying Christmas Clay-Massacre! Check out what the Life of Agony bassist/comic book creator has in store with his upcoming special holiday-themed coloring book!

May your days be scary and bright! Ghouliana sinks her fangs into The North Pole, causing all kinds of chaos and havoc on Christmas Eve with this spooktacular holiday-themed coloring book! Each perforated page is easily removable and ready for display under the mistletoe. Ghosts of Christmas is intricately illustrated by best-selling artist Alan Robert and is overflowing with limb-filled stockings, zombified elves, burning gingerbread houses, and decaying reindeer. Even good ol’ St. Nick is terrified to turn the pages!

Here are 5 reasons we love The Beauty of Horror: Christmas Clay-Massacre:

5) It’s Devilishly Fun!

As we previously mentioned,  creator Alan Robert and animator Trent Shy teamed up to dismantle the North Pole. Robert’s horrifying characters. In the teaser, the series’ very own Ghouliana, was unleashed at Santa’s Workshop.

4) Rudolph!

Robert tells Nerdist, “There’s something devilishly fun about completely destroying the old stop-motion Holiday specials we all grew up on. And I can tell you this… no one makes it out alive! Especially poor Rudolph!”

3) Stop Motion!

Shy describes the animation process, “I love The Beauty of Horror books and loved his vision for this film so much that it really made this a passion project for me. Stop motion animation can be very frustrating and time consuming, so I think it was that passion that got me through and made the film what it is.”

2) New York Comic Con!

During the recent New York Comic Con, audiences got a chance to see first-hand Christmas Clay-Massacre. The horror short was presented at IDW Publishing’s “The Big Scoop” Panel.
