Ouija House DVD, Mischa Barton

ITN Distribution delivers the captivating supernatural thriller, Ouija House, (Nightmare films LLC), starring Carly Schroeder and Mischa Barton, onto DVD. If audiences are looking for something to watch on scary movie night, then look no further because Ouija House delivers the goods!

A graduate student is on the last of her research on a book project. She wants to help her down-on-her-luck mother. She brings her friends to a house with a dark past, where they soon unwittingly summon an evil entity.

Here are 5 reasons why you should get Ouija House on DVD:

5) Carly Schroeder!

A standout all her own, Carly Schroeder delivers a knockout leading performance as Laurie. Schroeder commands the screen with such charisma; you can’t take your eyes off her. The role of Laurie asks her to be sympathetic, strong, and vulnerable all the while the house plays its sinister game!

4) The Opening!

The opening minutes explains the rules of Ouija House as if it were its own short film! I really do feel like you’re getting two films for the price of one, especially with how well the opening scene deftly handles the scares and kill count. If you loved Tara Reid in the Sharknado movies, you’re going to love her here too!

3) The House!

Hansel V. Gretel director Ben Demaree does a phenomenal job capturing the claustrophobia and menace from his one setting. The house from the screenplay by Justin Hawkins and Jeff Miller has to be its own character and Demaree really understands that, making sure the backgrounds have detail. The kill scenes ramp up as the evil entity in the house makes itself known.

2) Frightening Me!

Overall, Ouija House has a terrific ensemble cast, which also features Mischa Barton, Dee Wallace, and Chris Mulkey. The horror of Ouija House slowly builds and builds some more to the terrifying climax!
