Before returning from its cliffhanging hiatus, lets take a look back on the action-packed episodes 1-8 from Blindspot Season 3 on NBC. Are Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) and Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) ready to face each other after another secret from their past is revealed?

As we previously mentioned, the third season of Blindspot follows Jane Doe (Alexander), who has been mysteriously covered with bioluminescent tattoos. Jane’s only clues are covered all her tattooed body. With the help of her husband (maybe former), Kurt Weller (Stapleton), and the FBI’s Critical Incident Response Group, Jane has to figure what these mysterious tattoos mean before a major disaster occurs.

[If you’re not caught up, watch the previous episodes on the NBC app or catch up with our recent recaps! SPOILERS AHEAD!!] Check out our recent thoughts on this third season of Blindspot:

8) He Told The Truth!!!

In the mid-season finale, City Folks Under Wraps, Kurt revealed to Jane that he met her daughter and it’s his fault that she’s dead! We don’t know if this is another part of Roman (Luke Mitchell)’s master plan to ruin their marriage. Will the two be able to pull it together or has their marriage been ruined before it has even started?

7) She Thinks She Lives There!

In Fix My Present Havoc, I laughed out loud after Patterson (Ashley Johnson) revealed she has been crashing at Jane and Kurt’s apartment for awhile now, like she lives there. I kinda wish the writers went into that a little bit more.

6) A Show Within A Show!

Adoring Suspect is the episode where everything went all meta. We’re on the set of a fake FBI procedural but it really is the set of Blindspot. And then Richdotcom (Ennis Esmer) burns down the set because someone thought it’d be a good idea to give him a flame-thrower!

5) Baby News!

This is how maniacal Roman (Mitchell) really is. He’s not calling Jane to give her closure. Roman’s actually calling her to mess with her head and torture Jane about her missing daughter.

4) Reade The Traitor?

While trying to clear up some loose ends on Stuart’s murder, Tasha (Audrey Esparza) spots Edgar Reade (Rob Brown) secretly getting into a car with Assistant Secretary West. I liked seeing these two at odds with each other then being romantically involved. I don’t know why the writers are trying to force this relationship between Tasha and Reade, but it’s definitely not working for me.

3) Three Blind Mice!

This episode was really important for Richdotcom (Esmer) because it shows whose side he’s on. Rich is willing to sacrifice himself to save Patterson (Johnson). But will he go back to his old ways? Can you really trust a rat? Rich has turned into a snitch for the FBI if you think about it.

2) Poor Stuart!

Time has passed and Patterson has forgotten how to play well with others. Not only was did he have a bad day at work, being yelled at by Patterson nonstop, poor Stuart ((Jordan Johnson-Hinds) gets murdered by his boss, the one person he thought he could trust, Eleanor (Mary Stuart Masterson).

1) The Reunion!

Back to the Grind represents getting the old band back together. Kurt holding back Jane’s daughter started here with Roman. If you look back on the premiere, Roman has been hinting about Hank Crawford (David Morse). I still want to know what Tasha (Esparza) is hiding from  the others as well.

Blindspot returns January 12th, 2018 Friday at 8pm.
