Showtime continues Twin Peaks: The Return with the newest airing of Episode 14: We Are Like The Dreamer, which connects to the prequel and previous seasons. In the fourteenth episode, original stars, Kyle MacLachlan and Mädchen Amick, reunite along with new faces in the continuation of David Lynch’s mystery/crime drama.

As FBI agent Albert Rosenfeld (Miguel Ferrer) continues to explain agent Tammy Preston (Chrysta Bell) the significance behind the blue rose, Deputy Director Gordon Cole (Lynch) reveals the dream he had about Monica Bellucci. In the dream, Monica discussed Gordon the significance of the dreamers.

Gordon then saw a young version of himself. In Fire Walk With Me, Philip Jeffries (David Bowie) warned Gordon that Dale Cooper wasn’t himself. This was all part of the dream Gordon had before. In a major revelation, Diane (Laura Dern) mentions Janey-E Jones (Naomi Watts) is her estranged sister.

Back at Twin Peaks, Deputy Chief Tommy ‘Hawk’ Hill (Michael Horse) and Sheriff Frank Truman (Robert Forster) have been working together to bring down Chad, the corrupt cop. After Deputy Bobby Briggs (Dana Ashbrook) puts the handcuffs on Chad, Deputy Andy Brennan (Harry Goaz) joins them on their trip to the woods.

Following Major Briggs’ coordinates, Hawk, Bobby, Andy, and Frank discover a naked woman in the woods. The eyeless woman is the same person who helped Dale escape the Black Lodge. A rift opens in the sky and transports Andy to the Black Lodge.

In the Black Lodge, Andy meets The Giant and learns the origin story. Time has passed as Andy returns to the group. Carry the eyeless woman in his arms, Andy warns someone is coming after her and she must be protected at all costs.

While the eyeless woman sits in a prison cell, James Hurley (James Marshall) is celebrating his birthday at work. He hears a story about the Black Lodge and the Giant from his co-worker. Because he’s a security guard, James has to check the creepy basement of The Great Northern Hotel.

At a bar, Laura Palmer’s mother, Sarah Palmer (Grace Zabriskie) is being harassed by a racist drunk. Sarah rips off her face and reveals the monster inside. She then rips out the drunk’s throat and screams. She doesn’t know what happened to the dead man on the floor. How long has Bob possessed Sarah?

Lissie then preforms “Wild West” at The Roadhouse

Twin Peaks: The Return continues Sundays at 9pm on Showtime.
