Uncork’d Entertainment delivers the nostalgic and gritty revenge thriller, Death Kiss, starring Robert Kovacs and Daniel Baldwin, onto DVD. With some special features to share, check out how writer/director Rene Perez put together a visually stylish and action-packed thriller.
A vigilante with a mysterious past who goes to a crime-infested city and takes the law into his own hands, at the same time protecting a young mother and her child
Here are 5 reasons why you should get the Death Kiss DVD:
5) Charles Bronson!
With an uncanny resemblance to Charles Bronson, I was surprised how actor Robert Bronzi captured his essence, without bordering on caricaturization. Trust me, I would have said the film failed as an experiment if it did otherwise. Known as The Stranger, Bronzi delivers his own dynamic on-screen charisma.
4) Eva Hamilton!
Eva Hamilton is an amazing delight to watch. Hamilton has such engaging chemistry with Bronzi in their scenes together. As Ana, Hamilton is able to humanize Stranger, who refuses to let anyone see his vulnerable side.
3) The Action!
Death Kiss perfectly uses its urban setting that gives the movie its edgy vibe. The visual imagery stays within your mind, especially when The Strangers walks across the street in a single take.
2) A Great Thriller!
Filmmaker Rene Perez captures a throwback feel and adds a bit of freshness to the action genre, The eclectic soundtrack adds fire to the fast-paced editing during the action sequences. I loved the ending, but I hope there’s more of The Stranger to come.
