After the third season finale aired on NBC, Jaimie Alexander teases her “new look” for the upcoming Season 4 of Blindspot, co-starring Sullivan Stapleton. After the shocking events of Season 3, will Jane Doe (Alexander) and Kurt Weller (Stapleton) be able to work together to solve the mystery tattoos?
As we previously mentioned, Jane Doe (Alexander) found herself mysteriously covered with bioluminescent tattoos. Jane’s only clues are covered all her tattooed body. With the help of her husband, Kurt Weller (Stapleton), and the FBI’s Critical Incident Response Group, Jane has to figure what these mysterious tattoos mean before a major disaster occurs.
[SPOILERS AHEAD!!] Here are 5 reasons we love Jaimie Alexander’s new look for Blindspot:
5) New Look!
During the action-packed third season finale, Jane was rushed to the hospital after her tearful confrontation with Roman (Luke Mitchell). Unfortunately, when she woke up in the hospital bed, it wasn’t Jane but her alter ego, Remi. With her memories gone, Remi thinks her mission is still to infiltrate the FBI and destroy Kurt Weller and his team!
4) New HairStyle!
Revealed on her Instagram page, Alexander teases her luscious curls, “New season. New look. #Blindspot #Season4 Thank you Ryan Trygstad”
3) Where Do We Go From Here!?!
The celebrity hairstylist also added extensions to the new hairdo. Trygstad shares a behind-the-scenes video and writes, “#flawless @jaimiealexander #blindspot #lob. #extensions @marierobinsonsalon @sheltersalonrva #blackhair #nbc”
2) Jane Or Remi!?!
But who’s the new look for? Is this how the audience will get to know Remi? Or will Jane recover her memories and come back before it’s too late? What will Kurt think of his wife’s hairdo? And will he say the right words so she doesn’t kill him?
1) The Season 3 Finale!
According to Entertainment Tonight, showrunner Martin Gero reveals Kurt’s condition after his stitches opened up and wounds started bleeding, “There’s going to be a time jump between seasons — it’ll probably be a couple of months — and [at the start of season four], he’s starting to come back from it. He’s not out in the field right away. It’ll be interesting for him, because Weller is so Type A and likes to be in control and suddenly, he won’t physically be able to get right back in there. It really adds a great dynamic to the start of the new season.”
Season 4 of Blindspot will return to NBC on Fridays in the fall.
