Sam (Padalecki) and Dean (Ackles) are overwhelmed as they comes face to face with their resurrected mother, Mary Winchester (Samantha Smith). As their reunion continues, Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) is planning on starting his own family. The Winchesters are in a race against time to prevent the birth of the Anti-Christ.

1) Mary’s Return!
A new cast member was added and the family became a trio. Smith was simply amazing as Mary Winchester, who was lost in time but knew her hunting skills were tough to beat.
2) First Blood
Captured by the Secret Service, Sam and Dean are locked up in a secluded prison. After making their escape, they become Rambo-like assassins as they use their wits to survive in the woods and outrace the military. This episode has the best one-liner at the end!
3) Stuck in the Middle (With You)
Quite possibly the best episode of the season, this one was a clever tribute to filmmaker Quentin Tarantino. Much like his films, Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, the events are told out of order and jump from different perspectives. The Winchester brothers and Castiel (Collins) find themselves in a heist gone horribly wrong!
4) The Death Count!!
Not only did All Along the Watchtower feature the return of Uncle Bobby (Jim Beaver), Lucifer (Pellegrino) had his final confrontation with Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard). To hurst the Winchester brothers, Lucifer kidnapped their mother and took her to an alternate dimension.
