Writer Dennis Hopeless dives into what the championship belt really means to The Shield. They can’t share the belt, as if the championship is meant for only one. No matter what they will have to sacrifice, it will all be worth it in the end.

I love how Hopeless dives into the relationship between Ambrose, Rollins, and Reigns. Together, the Shield acts like brothers who all know how to each other’s buttons. Hopeless jumps back and forth in the narrative’s timeline to reveal a surprising twist!

Artist Serg Acuña, with the assist by Tim Lattie, delivers the best wresting moves inside the ring.The colors by Doug Garbark heighten the emotional intensity of the closeups. Notice how the color purple hits home the theme of brotherly love.
2) The Guest Stars!
Tripe H has a major moment, setting up the WWE championship! John Cena’s guest appearance in the eleventh issue is mentioned in dialogue; a nice shout-out.

A fun read, the WWE #12 jam-packs so much heart and action all into one issue! I love how the comic takes readers right into the head of the WWE superstars before their big match.
