Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions have released the second official trailer to the highly anticipated comic book thriller, Glass, starring Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, and James McAvoy. Writer/director M. Night Shyamalan reunites the cast in the upcoming crossover of his popular films, Unbreakable, and Split.

Following the conclusion of Split, David Dunn [Wills] pursues Kevin Wendell Crumb [McAvoy]’s superhuman figure of The Beast.  During their series of escalating encounters, the shadowy presence of Elijah Price [Jackson] emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.”

Here are 5 reasons we love the second official trailer to Glass Images:

5) They’re Captured!

As we previously mentioned, the trio appear to be receiving treatment from a psychiatrist played by Dr. Ellie Staple (Sarah Paulson). She’s amazed by the three, even thrilled by the way to meet them, but what are her true intentions? David (Wills) appears to be reluctant to be putting the costume back on.

4) The Criminal Mastermind!

Showing off his Lex Luthor prowess, Elijah (Jackson) has been biding his time, waiting for The beast’s arrival. Elijah appears to be even manipulating the guards at the hospital and Dr. Ellie Staple doesn’t even realize it! Has Elijah found a way to defeat David?

3) The Beast!

It looks like we’ll be meeting more of Kevin’s other personalities. Dr. Ellie Staple has even invented a machine that can cause physical harm to Kevin. Or is she really torturing him?

2) Good Vs. Evil!

In the end though, it’s a big battle between David and Kevin aka The Beast. Is it just me or is James McAvoy fighting Bruce Willis while naked? Will M. Night Shyamalan adapt The Death of Superman or Nightfall, the breaking of Batman?

1) The Score!

West Dylan Thordson is composing the music for Glass. I wonder if that’s his piano rendition of James Newton Howard’s theme! I love this version of the track in the trailer!

Glass will hit theaters on January 18, 2019.
