A re-imagination of the 1960 Rat Pack picture, Warner Bros and Village Roadshow have released the official main trailer to Ocean’s 8, starring Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett. The female-driven reboot teases a high-stakes heist with a tremendously wealthy payoff.
Having this much fun is a crime! Ex-convict Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) is planning to rob the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual fashion ball. Just like her infamous brother, Danny Ocean (Frank Sinatra or George Clooney – take your pick) Will she be able to pull off the big time heist with her team of accomplices? or will she end up back in prison?

5) The Ensemble Cast!
Just like Steven Soderbergh’s remake, everywhere you look there’s a beautiful face. Anna Hathaway Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Rihanna, Awkwafina and Helena Bonham Carter are all in the cast. Somebody needed to play the male eye candy — so they got late night talk-show host James Corden to play?
4) That Opening!
Anne Hathaway is just vamping it up, saying the “Oohs” and “Aaahhhs” as the snooty actress Daphne Kluger, the target of the impossible heist. I don’t know about you but I laughed out loud when Hathaway squinted her eyes and said, “Sooo?”
3) The Music!
You can hear Betty Everett’s song “You’re no good” blasting away in the trailer!
2) The Long Con!
Debbie (Bullock) has been planning this heist for about five years, eight months and 12 days. That means, the entire time she has been in prison, this is what Debbie has been thinking about behind bars.
1) The Subway!
I don’t know if its a real subway or a fake subway, but I love how writer/director Gary Ross (The Hunger Games) was able to capture his leading stars in one train car. I love they all sit in their own way, matching their character’s personality.
Ocean’s 8 arrives in theaters on June 8th, 2018.
