Before its theatrical release from Amazon Studios, inspired artists will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to illustrate the You Were Never Really Here poster and be part of the film’s official art exhibit in Los Angeles. Based on the book by Jonathan Ames, Joaquin Phoenix stars in the highly anticipated crime thriller from director Lynn Ramsay.
A traumatized veteran, unafraid of violence, tracks down missing girls for a living. When a job spins out of control, Joe (Phoenix)’s nightmares overtake him as a conspiracy is suddenly uncovered. His shocking discovery will lead to what very may well be his death trip or his awakening. The cast includes Judith Roberts, Ekaterina Samsonov, John Doman, Alex Manette, Dante Pereira-Olsen, and Alessandro Nivola

5) The Art Exhibit!
The Taschen Gallery will serve as host to an interactive display of art from Lynne Ramsay’s feature film. The set design vignettes will allow attendees to enter the Joe’s dark world. Preview footage from the film, step into the most vivid scene with a cinematic video portrait booth, and become enveloped in the soundtrack by Radiohead’s Johnny Greenwood.
4) The Rules!
Illustrate the You Were Never Really Here poster for a chance to be featured in the film’s official art exhibit in Los Angeles from April 5-8 . Artists should submit via Facebook direct message, or in a post using #myYWNRHposter on Twitter and Instagram. Take note, an 8×10 at 150-300 DPI file is preferred to print for the gallery

2) It Will Be Open To The Public!
The gallery exhibit will be open to the public Friday, April 6th to Sunday, April 8th from 11am to 7pm. Be at this location: Taschen Gallery 8070 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048.

Featured at 2018 Sundance Film Festival, You Were Never Really Here premiered at the 70th Cannes Film Festival in competition, where Ramsay won the Best Screenplay award and the Gladiator actor won the award for Best Actor.
