Just before her Season 2 return on Netflix, actress Alison Brie (Mad Men) has posted a behind-the-scenes photo from the female-led wrestling series GLOW. The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling will be coming for more soap opera theatrics, colorful spandex, and ‘80s music.
As we previously mentioned, Ruth Wilder (Brie) is an out-of-work actress living in Los Angeles. During the ‘80s, Wilder discovers an unexpected chance at stardom. She has to enter the glitter and spandex-laden world of women’s wrestling, where she must work alongside 12 other Hollywood misfits. Leading this pack, Sam Sylvia (Marc Macron), a washed-up director of low-budget B movies, has to diver on his promise of fame.
