Warner Home Video brings the popular CW superhero drama, Arrow, and delivers its action-packed Season 5 onto DVD and Blu-Ray. Watch your episodes starring Stephen Amell as the DC Comics superhero and Emily Bett Rickards as his quirky companion, Felicity Smoak.
As we previously mentioned, the newly appointed Mayor Oliver Queen (Amell) finds himself fighting for the future of Star City. With Diggle (David Ramsey) back in the military and Thea (Willa Holland) hanging up her hood as Speedy, the Green Arrow needs more teammates. The public defeat of Damien Darhk has inspired a new crop of masked vigilantes and a new super-villain, named Prometheus, to take his place. Unfortunately for Oliver, this means he will have to confront questions about his own legacy, both as mayor and as the Green Arrow.
Here are 5 reasons why you should get Arrow: Season 5 on DVD and Blu-Ray:
5) It’s a Revival!
No judgment if you get #ArrowS5 just to play scenes like this over and over. Own it on Blu-ray™ 9/19! https://t.co/D5ur2wPMPf pic.twitter.com/GvSETQxPOI

Season 4 was a complete mess, even though there were a few episodes that were certainly deemed watchable. After its weakest season, Arrow returned stronger and barked back to the grittiness of the action. With a new addition of some charismatic sidekicks, the serialized drama revitalized itself once again.
4) Black Siren!
I was not very fond with the Season 4 death of Laurel Lance aka Black Canary. Thank goodness the writers quickly fixed that mistake and brought back Katie Cassidy into the fold. No matter what, you do not get rid such a fantastic talent! As Black Siren, Cassidy rocks the bad girl attitude and leathery outfit!
3) The 100th Episode!
Arrow celebrated its 100th episode milestone during the fifth season. As the third installment in the 4-part Invasion crossover with Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and The Flash, the show brought back familiar fan-favorite faces. It was so wonderful to see Caity Lotz’s Sarah Lance working alongside with the Arrow cast.
2) That Ending Man!
How awesome was it to see Manu Bennett back as Deathstroke! The fifth season finale ended with a major cliffhanger that shocked many fans. What the hell? Is everybody dead when Season 6 starts!
