USA Network has aired the last 2 episodes, including the Season 7 summer finale, of their popular lawyer drama, Suits, starring Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht. Let’s take a look back on the return on slick lawyers Mike Ross and Harvey Specter.
As we previously mentioned, Mike Ross (Adams) found himself in prison life, starting his two-year sentence. Meanwhile, the Pearson Specter & Litt offices struggles to keep business afloat after the departure of their partners. With the scandal affecting resources, Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres), Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), Donna Paulson (Sarah Rafferty) and Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) attempt to save the firm. Harvey Specter (Macht) is on his own personal mission to bend the rules and get Mike released from prison.

The summer finale, Donna, ended with a sweet and jaw-dropping kiss between Donna Paulson (Sarah Rafferty) and Harvey Specter (Macht). Poor Harvey, he just gave his girlfriend, Dr. Paula Agard (Christina Cole), the keys to his apartment. The will or won’t they romance between Harvey and Donna continues when the show returns in winter 2018.
4. More Than Daddy’s Little Girl!
Echoes of Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres), Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) took down a CEO, who has a history of sexual harassment. While Robert Zane (Wendall Pierce) distracted the CEO, Rachel went over his head and spoke at his boardroom meeting. With their money on the line, She was able to convince the executives to sign on the dotted line and remove the CEO from his position.
3. The Big Bad!
Ruthless and conniving, Andy Mali (Usman Ally) has plans to make it to the top. He also has personal history with Harvey. Now it feels like who doesn’t have baggage with Harvey? Like looking into a mirror, Andy Mali is the prefect nemesis for Harvey, if he never had Mike or Donna by his side.
2. Gretchen!
Gretchen (Aloma Wright) put both Louis Litt (Hoffman) and the associate in their place. She argued against Louis for demeaning and lashing out at the associate. And then she defended Louis after the associate was badmouthing her boss. Suits should have more scenes like this with Gretchen!
1. The Start of the Spinoff Is Almost Here!
If he couldn’t bring down Harvey, Andy Mali (Usman Ally) went after Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) and got her disbarred. The last episode of Season 7 will be a backdoor pilot to the Suits spinoff series. We’ll be seeing how Jessica moves from law and into politics.
Season 7 of Suits will return January 2018 on USA Network.
