NBC has aired the action-packed Season 4 premiere of Blindspot, Episode 1: Hella Duplicitous, starring Jaimie Alexander and Sullivan Stapleton. After the shocking events of Season 3, will Kurt Weller (Stapleton) solve the mystery tattoos before its too late for Jane Doe (Alexander)?
Pretending to be Jane, Remi is working with the FBI to steal one of several data caches that Roman tragically left behind. Rich Dotcom (Ennis Esmer) suspects something is off with Jane until they end up fighting with Japanese crime boss. During the heist gone horribly wrong, Jane slaughters everyone during the katana fight.
While Weller tries to get back on the field, he learns from Patterson (Ashley Johnson) that Jane this slowly dying from the poison. As Jane, Reme insists that Roman and Shepherd would never have drugged her with something lethal. Patterson believes if the team can’t find a cure in time, the poisoning will eventually reach Jane’s brain stem and leave her crippled.
During Jane’s hallucination, she tells Roman (Luke Mitchell) her plans. She has to find the last remaining agent of Sandstorm and rescue Dolan from the FBI team. While Patterson is working on his whereabouts, Jane solves the clue and finds him at an abandoned warehouse. Jane convinces Dolan that they need to rob a criminal bank, in order to get the money needed to hire mercenaries.
Elsewhere, Zapata (Audrey Esparza) Blake Crawford to take over as the company’s CEO. In order to convince the shareholders, Blake has to gather everyone for a special meeting. While giving a speech about her father’s legacy, Blake and the other shareholders die from the poison in their drinks.
The only person left alive is Zapata. The remaining survivor, Madeline Burke (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) wants Zapata to fake her death with the FBI and work with her. Zapata and Madeline agree to work together, as long as she kills Reade and the rest of the FBI team.
Unfortunately, the stolen money leads back to Dolan.During the speeding car chase, Reade (Rob Brown) ends up crashing his car straight into Dolan’s. Jane. Before passing away, Dolan begs Jane to avenge his death and make the FBI pay.
Though Dolan is dead, Patterson believes there is still one more Sandstorm agent left. While using Jane’s cover, Remi believes she can break out her mother from the hidden black site. Her mother is going to find a cure for her. And then she will be able to kill Kurt Weller.
