Meanwhile, Zapata is shocked to find out that Keaton is in a coma. In a lengthy conversation, Zapata reveals she has been working undercover for her handler, Keaton. She has been trying to infiltrate the evil organization that Hank Crawford was working for.
With the tick ticking, Zapata has to reach her next meet or she cannot prevent the next attack. Unfortunately, MI-6 refuses to corrobrate with Zapata’s side of the story. With the CIA breathing down his neck, Reade reluctantly gives in and releases Zapata from his custody.
After finding Dr. Nora Lee Roga’s hideout, Kurt and Patterson discover she has been working on a cure for ZIP poisoning. Unfortunately, there are still men with guns coming after her. Kurt manages to save the scientist but isn’t able to save the valuable research from the massive fire.
Still upset over the loss, Kurt is comforted by Jane, who feels more optimistic. There’s some hope to believe in after all. Reade gets the call from the MI-6 agent, who corroborates half of Tasha’s story.
Finally making her meeting, Zapata is suddenly kidnapped by the CIA.
