After the shocking events of Season 3, will Kurt Weller (Stapleton) solve the mystery tattoos before its too late for Jane Doe (Alexander)?
When we last left them off, Zapata (Audrey Esparza) and Reade (Rob Brown) lost key evidence against Madeline Burke (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio). From beyond the grave, Shepard has left a puzzle and a ring for Jane to solve. Jane is grieving over Shepard’s death that she wasn’t want to deal with her personal belongings.
Patterson (Ashley Johnson) joins the rest of his team as Rich Dotcom (Ennis Esmer) unveils his masterpiece. Rich has created a Tattoo Squad board game based off his teammates. The fun and games end when a terrorist named SilverMark (Tom Pelphrey) steals some plutonium.
Elsewhere, Zapata discovers Keaton has woken up from his coma. In a USB drive, Keaton has all the evidence that can exonerate Tasha as an undercover agent. Unfortunately, without Madeline in custody, Keaton will take the fall form the CIA.
Weapons specialist named Dave Kirkpatrick is called in find out where the plutonium has been taken. Rich and Patterson discover a private chat where SilverMark is planning to sell the plutonium. With Dave ready to disarm the plutonium bomb, Rich uses the board game to plan the operation.
While Dave and Patterson are securing the plutonium, Kurt and Jane meet SilverMark and Greta. Turns out SilverMark used to work for Remi and Shepard. SilverMark though doesn’t know Remi set him up, which is why he was discharged from the military.
While Jane and Kurt stall for time, Dave is able to rewire the detonator but SilverMark still has a bomb. At the last minute, SilverMark betrays Jane, locking her up, and steals the dirty bomb. After the deal was done, he was planning to kill Jane and detonate the plutonium.
In a race against time, Jane discovers where SilverMark plans to detonate the dirty bomb. As Kurt races to find her, Jane reveals to SilverMark that she’s the one who betrayed him in the past. Sandstorm is the reason why he has been branded a traitor.
Filled with rage, SilverMark decides to blow everyone up. Jane screams as Kurt opens fire at SilverMark. With SilverMark dead on the floor, Jane is unable to keep her composure.
As Jane grieves and tears up, Patterson and Rich watch on the video feed as a masked figure has broken into the warehouse with Shepard’s key.
