NBC delivers the action-packed Season 4 mid-season finale of Blindspot, Episode 8: Screech, Thwack, Pow, starring Jaimie Alexander and Sullivan Stapleton. After the shocking events of Season 3, will Kurt Weller (Stapleton) solve the mystery tattoos before it’s too late for Jane Doe (Alexander)?
With Remi on the run, Kurt has to reveal his secret to Patterson (Ashley Johnson) and Rich Dotcom (Ennis Esmer). Kurt wants to believe Jane is still inside Remi, even though the poison is reaching her brain. Promising Patterson, Reade (Rob Brown) continues to work with FBI director Matthew Weitz (Aaron Abrams) to bring in Zapata (Audrey Esparza) alive.
While Zapata travels with Madeline Burke (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) to Mexico, Remi sets off the first stage of her plan. With the help of Rich’s former lover, Boston, Remi is able to start a fake nuclear missile attack. FBI Headquarters is under pressure as rich scrambles to tell Boston his true feelings.
In a stolen ambulance, Remi is on her way to break out Shepard from her prison. Zapata and Madeline try to make a deal to get their hacker, Del Toro. Unfortunately Zapata ends up crossing paths with Reader and Matthew.
During the ambulance ride, Boston starts to notice Remi is talking to herself. In her hallucinations, Remi is talking to Roman (Luke Mitchell) about how she refuses to give up. During th breakout, Shepard starts to realize the poison is slowly killing Remi/Jane.
Meanwhile, Patterson and Rich are able to stop the fake missile attack. Following Boston’s signal, Kurt catches up with Remi and ends up in a deadly crash. After Jane escape, Boston reveals that Jane has been talking to her dead brother.
Using Roman’s number, Kurt is able to send a message to Remi. Thinking her brother is still alive, Remi actually ends up going to the meet point. Left behind, Shepard has lost faith in her mission, especially now that Sandstorm is completely over.
Rich makes one last play for Boston. Before being sent off to federal prison, Boston reveals he still has feelings for Rich. This entire time, Rich was fooling Boston, who was actually going back to house arrest.
While Zapata ends up in a Mexican standoff with Reade and Matthew, Remi wants to start fighting Kurt.
Blindspot returns on NBC Friday, January 11th at 8pm.
