After the DC Comics superheroes stopped Invasion!. the CW Network presents the official poster for their upcoming 2017 Arrowverse Crossover. Now Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow finds themselves caught in Crisis on Earth-X!

According to TVLine, executive producers Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg stated, “We conceived this year’s crossover to be evocative of the annual Justice League/Justice Society crossovers we grew up with and looked forward to as kids. Phil [Jimenez] was the perfect choice to bring the comic book cover iteration of this idea to life. You can count on one hand the number of artists who could compellingly represent so many characters in a single image. Phil is one of them. And his design invokes the cover of Justice League #207, which was the 20th Annual JLA/JSA crossover. Our ten-year-old selves are in heaven.“

[SPOILERS Ahead] Check out our 5 thoughts on Crisis on Earth-X:

5. No Invasion This Time!

We previously mentioned, the Girl of Steel teamed-up with the scarlet speedster twice in the third season. First, they saved Earth-1 from alien invasion with Team Arrow and the Legends. From the poster, it looks like Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) will be a bridesmaid at Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (CandicePatton)’ wedding.

4. Earth X

The super-villains from Earth-X will crash the wedding festivities. Earth-X will play a big role in the animated CW Seed series, Freedom Fighters: The Ray. In this parallel Earth, Germany won World War II and Green Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl are evil. If you notice on the poster, the counterparts have gas masks on their faces.

3. Crisis On Earth-Prime

In Justice League #207, The Justice League of America prepare to welcome the Justice Society of America to Earth-1. The the Justice Society happens to be the Crime Syndicate of America that emerges from the transmatter machine.

2. Getting Cold in Here!

In The Flash, Caitlin Snow’s struggled to keep her evil side in check. Now it seems Team Flash needs Killer Frost to join them and save the day. Nice to see Danielle Panabaker participate in a big way in the crossovers, since she didn’t sing in the musical crossover episode.

1. The Ray

The really big party crasher could be The Ray. The DC comics superhero will be played by The Looking‘s Russell Tovey!

The Arrowverse crossover will air across two nights, beginning with Supergirl and Arrow on Monday, Nov. 27 at 8/7c, and concluding with The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 8 pm.
