With enthusiastic critical and fan response, Marvel Studios brings the global sensation, Black Panther, starring Chadwick Boseman, onto DVD and Blu-Ray. Watch the bonus materials behind the action/adventure blockbuster starring the popular Marvel superhero.
As we previously mentioned, after the events of Captain America: Civil War, King T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) returns home to Wakanda to serve as his country’s new leader. Before he can sit on the throne, T’Challa is challenged from factions within his own country. When two enemies conspire to destroy Wakanda, Black Panther must prevent Wakanda from being dragged into an all-out world war.
Here are 5 reasons why you should get the Black Panther on DVD and Blu-Ray!
5) A Great Hero!
Giving audiences a great hero, Chadwick Boseman delivers a conflicted superhero with a good heart. Boseman gives a strong and honorable performance as he is fully in control of the spotlight. In and out of costume, Boseman has a cool flair of sex appeal that dominates with audiences.
4) A Great Villain !
With an intense workout behind-the-scenes, Michael B. Jordan proudly displays incredible physique of Erik Killmonger. Jordan revealed he wrote a journal, describing Erik’s dark journey after the loss of his family. Killmonger is a deep and profound tragic figure who will resonate with viewers.
3) The Casino Scene!
Showing off her actions, Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead) has a prominent appearance as Okoye, in the action-packed. casino scene. Director Ryan Coogler moves the camera to capture all the sweeping action in one take. The music from Kendrick Lamar’s soundtrack jumpstarts the sequence that sparks the arrival of C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman).
2) Visit Wakanda!
Wakanda has such vivid art, detailed costumes, and makeup designs that were inspired by real-world African tribal traditions. I love how the end credits takes a smart jab at the 45th President’s racist “sh*thole country” comments. And you know Wakanda wouldn’t be perfect without Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, and Angela Bassett.
