Mainframe Pictures has released the official trailer for their highly anticipated sexy psychological thriller, Long Lost, starring Adam Weppler, Catherine Corcoran, and Nicholas Tucci. In his directorial debut, writer/director Erik Bloomquist presents a terrifying thriller where sibling rivalry goes horribly wrong.
Seth (Adam Weppler), a young man invited to spend a weekend at the Connecticut mansion of his long-lost millionaire half-brother Richard (Nicholas Tucci). With the help of his enigmatic live-in girlfriend Abby (Catherine Corcoran), Richard leads Seth down a psychosexual rabbit hole wherein luxury and temptation are intermingled with treachery and taboo.
Here are 5 reasons we’re excited for Long Lost:
5) The Femme Fatale!
If you have seen Terrifier and Return to Nuke ‘Em High, then you already know Catherine Corcoran fills up the screen with magnetic charisma. Seems like Abby (Corcoran) is losing her clothing bit by bit and stripping down to a bikini in her seduction games. I’m can’t wait to see Corcoran in the role of a femme fatale.
4) A Survival Thriller!
Imagine what you thought was supposed to be getaway to fancy mansion. And now you discover this mansion is secluded and you’re in the middle of nowhere! The tension-filled footage shows viewers that it’s going to be scary ride to survival!
3) The Mind Games!
As seen in the trailer, Seth (Weppler) is staring to realize the people inside the house may know him better than he knows himself. Does his brother, Richard (Tucci) even want this family reunion? Who’s using who?
2) She Came from the Woods!
Have you gotten a chance to see She Came from the Woods? Along with co-director Carson Bloomquist, Erik Bloomquist co-wrote the nostalgic camp slasher. I’m looking forward to what Erik Bloomquist does here with Long Lost!
1) A Film Festival Darling!
According to Dread Central, the film has amassed awards from Eastern Oregon Film Festival, Nevermore Film Festival, Laughlin International Film Festival, Queen Palm International Film Festival, jellyFEST, Sherman Oaks Film Festival, and ReadingFilmFEST.
Long Lost will be released in a 20-city limited theatrical run starting March 29th, 2019 and hits VOD this April.
