Zombies will feed on “My Old Ways” as AMC presents the new faces making their way into the Season 4 trailer of Fear The Walking Dead. Let’s take an in-depth look and talk about what Morgan (Lennie James)’s upcoming crossover.
As we previously mentioned, the world of Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and her family collides with the arrival Morgan Jones (Lennie James). There is an uncertain present of struggle and discovery as new friends face rival foes and threats. They will fight for each other, against each other while standing up against the legion of the undead.
[SPOILERS Ahead] Here are 5 thoughts we had on the Fear The Walking Dead! trailer:
5) Time Jump?!?
In The Walking Dead comics, Morgan isn’t even around for All-Out War. Morgan may not end up in a climatic showdown against Negan and his bat known as Lucille, but there will be consequences from the event. Garret Dillahunt (Justified), Jenna Elfman (Dharma and Greg) and Maggie Grace (Lost) have joined the AMC drama. There’s even a new gunslinger coming to town! Maybe showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg are a fan of Dillahunt’s modern western take in Justified?
4) “My Old Ways” by Dr. Dog.
The Lyrics:
Some things never change
Or go away
I wait around
And now it’s yesterday
Like some little Kid
Who’s overgrown
The lonely one
Who’s never been alone
3) Land of the Dead?
In the George A. Romero’s Land of the Dead, an armored personnel vehicle takes down the zombie horde until its stolen. In a 9/11 political and satirical take, the terrorists are using Dead Reckoning against us. Is Grace’s armored tank foreshadowing bad things to come?
2)The Future Is Female!
I love how the trailer, which premiered during WonderCon and Talking Dead, starts off with Elfman and Alycia Debnam-Carey aka Alicia Clark. They’re the ones surveilling the post-apocalyptic wasteland and taking charge!
1) He Deserved It!
The four minute trailer ends with Nick Clark (Frank Dillane) getting his butt kicked. Morgan shows off his swinging skills as he knocks Nick around. I bet that scene was a huge hit with the crowd at WonderCon! You can’t say, he didn’t deserve it!
The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9pm on AMC. Season 4 of Fear the Walking Dead premieres April 15, 2018 at 10pm.
