A must-see horror/comedy from director Joe Lynch, Mayhem starring the wicked chemistry of Steven Yeun and Samara Weaving, makes its exclusive Shudder debut. The Mayhem director will also be taking over the Shudder TV programming and introducing some of his favorite films on the streaming service.
Derek Cho (Yeun) is having a really bad day. After being fired from his job, Derek discovers that the law firm’s building is under quarantine for a mysterious and dangerous virus. Chaos erupts as Derek joins forces with a former client named Melanie Cross (Weaving), who holds a grudge of her own. Derek will savagely fight tooth and nail to get to the executives on the top floor.
5) An Exclusive Debut!

Mayhem will make its exclusive Shudder debut over the weekend. The special debut also includes a special commentary track with director Joe Lynch and films’ star, Steven Yeun. Did you know Yuen was also the executive producer!?!
4) His Favorite Movies!
Lynch will also be taking over Shudder TV programming. The filmmaker will introduce his top favorite picks. The list includes Battle Royale, High Tension, and Phantasm!
3) We Miss You Glenn!
I haven’t been the same since Glenn (Yuen) left The Walking Dead! Spoilers but oh my god Negan and Lucille! But I am really glad Yuen is picking up work after the show. With Yuen, you can trust an actor who will never phone in his performance and give the role his best dramatic effort.
2) A Rising Star!
I was blown away by Samara Weaving’s breakout performance in The Babysitter. As a performer, Weaving manages to juggle the black humor and drama with ease. I just want to see Weaving in everything she does, especially in Mayhem and SMLF!
1) Everly!
I was really impressed with Lynch’s action flick, Everly, and with Salma Hayek’s stellar performance. I couldn’t believe how Everly’s 24 hour storyline appeared to be an action flick done in one breakneck take. Make sure you watch Mayhem on Shudder and then check out Everly!
Make sure to check out Mayhem’s exclusive debut on Shudder this February 2nd weekend.
