A satisfying conclusion, Bone Parish #12 (BOOM! Studios) delivers an unforgettable action-packed finale that pushes the supernatural thriller to the max. Truly one of the best titles to have come out of 2018, Bone Parish succeeds tremendously with its ensemble cast of interesting characters.
The tale of the Ash comes to a close, not with a bang, but with a Winter.
Here are 5 reasons why you should get Bone Parish #11:
5) What Happened Before!
Saw this in the August solicits earlier today, so I figured I can share our final cover for Bone Parish here as well.

Since the first issue, the new drug that everybody is talking about is made from the ashes of humans! The ashes take the addicted users to new hallucinatory heights. Now imagine someone experimenting on this kind of drug and taking its adverse effects to a whole other level.
4) The Writing!
Writer Cullen Bunn vividly explores how the protagonists and antagonists will do pretty much anything, by any means necessary, to stop the war on drugs. With the writing so fast-paced, Bunn is able to explore the perspective of the cooks, the kingpins, and the police. The lettering by Ed Dukeshire captures the desperation and irony in Brae’s thought captions as he watches his empire fall apart.
3) The Artwork!
Artist Jonas Scharf does a fantastic job capturing the intensity of Leticia’s wrath. Then Scharf delivers the shock value of a brutal knife fight. In graphic detail, limbs are flying in the air after a fiery explosion.
2) The Colors!
Colorist Alex Gumaraes amps up the red tones during the opening pages. The night sky really stands out because of its striking blue tones. The purple highlights stand out during a hallucinatory wedding scene.
1) Horror & Crime!
The violence and the death count hits a crescendo in Bone Parish #12. Make sure to Bone Parish read from the beginning once you have all twelve issues.
Bone Parish #12 is out in stores on August 28th, 2019.
