Painted Creek Productions presents the tense and claustrophobic psychological thriller Final Recovery, starring Charlene Tilton and Jasper Cole. Director Harley Wallen captures the suspense and dark humor of two clashing personalities pitted against each other.

5. Charlene Tilton!
We support the baddies here at Villian Media! Actress Charlene Tilton delivers a captivating performance as the twisted Nanny Lou. Tilton does a great job switching between scary, grounded, and maniacal.
4. Jasper Cole!
Actor Jasper Cole also does an exceptional job as the flawed protagonist. Rodney. In his character arc, Rodney wants to beat his addictions, but the internal and external struggles are constantly weighing him down.
3. The Direction!
Director Harley Wallen managed to create a moody atmosphere within the closed space. Wallen and Cinematographer Nolan Rhys Elias made bold and stylish choices with the look of the third act. The lighting flashes turned on and off repetitively without becoming annoying to the eyes.
2. The Story!
Screenwriters Jerry Lee Davis and Nick Theurer keep the action mostly in one setting. Right off the bat, you can tell these two are huge fans of the 1975 film One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest. Interestingly, they both share the same theme; the patients at the facility know more about what’s really going on than outsiders.
