Dark Sky Films has released the official trailer to the paranoid thriller, Girl on the Third Floor, starring Phil “CM Punk” Brooks and Trieste Kelly Dunn. Teasing viewers what’s to come from his upcoming supernatural flick, writer/director Travis Stevens delivers a splatter-fest spin on the haunted house genre.
Don Koch (Phil “CM Punk” Brooks) tries to renovate a rundown house with a sordid history for his growing family, only to learn that the house has other plans.
Here are 5 reasons why we love the official trailer to Girl on the Third Floor:
5) Blindspot!
Fans of Blindspot will recognize Trieste Kelly Dunn, who plays Allison Knight on the NBC. The ex-wife of Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) shows up from time to time kicking butt and shooting bad guys. As Don’s wife Liz, Dunn looks like she’s still kicking butt; this time of the supernatural kind.
4) CM Punk!
As we previously mentioned, Phil Brooks appears in the Rabid remake, alongside Laura Vandervoort. Dynamic on the television screen as a wrestler, Brooks brings that charisma to his character, Don. Is the haunted house seducing Don (Brooks) to cheat on his wife? Is the mistress real or a figment of his paranoia?
3) The Scares!
Want to see GIRL ON THE THIRD FLOOR, starring @CMPunk & @TriesteKDunn, on the big screen in your area? Ask your local theater about playing it!

We're booking theaters now, but it's easier to get them if they already know there's a demand!

There’s an ick factor that pops up from time to time throughout the trailer. I don’t even want to know what that sludge, that black goop tossed onto Don’s face, is in the footage. Brooks expresses so much in reactions as the doors open and close by themselves.
2) The Ensemble Cast!
The ensemble includes Sarah Brooks, Elissa Dowling, Karen Woditsch, Travis Delgado, Marshall Bean, and Anish Jethmalani.
1) I’m Hooked!
There are very few trailers that don’t give up the entire movie (cough Spider-Man: Far From Home cough). Revealing just the right amount of gooey thrills and suspense, the trailer has peeked my interest enough that I can’t wait to see Girl on the Third Floor.
Girl on the Third Floor arrives in theaters and on VOD October 25th, 2019.
