Hallowed Ground, Uncork'd Entertainment

Uncork’d Entertainment delivers an intensely pulse-pounding psychological thriller, Hallowed Ground, starring Sherri Earkin and Lindsay Anne Williams. Writer/Director Miles Doleac grippingly captures a marriage in ruins and a forgotten history engulfed in hatred.

A married couple, trying to rebuild their relationship after an affair, travels to a secluded cabin and stumbles into a blood feud between the Native American owners of the property and the neighboring clan, who obsessively guard their land and punish those who trespass on it in terrifying ways.

Here are 5 reasons why you should see Hallowed Ground:

5) Lindsay Anne Williams!

Hallowed Ground

As Alice, Lindsay Anne Williams incredibly plays a protagonist who wants to change and repair the damage. Williams wonderfully captures Alice’s struggle and stamina to fix her broken marriage. Interestingly, Alice (Williams) is always apologizing but reconciliation is never easy.

4) Sherri Eakin!

In the role of Vera, Sherri Eakin beautifully expresses how heart-broken her character is with such somber facial reactions. Here is a married couple struggling when one partner breaks their sacred trust. Eakin does a fantastic job of portraying a protagonist who believes in second chances, but struggles making the first step.

3) Two Movies In One!

Hallowed Ground

The cinematography from Michael Williams really shines throughout the film, because viewers are watching two movies in one. One half of the narrative, which is more emotional, centers around a broken marriage trying to make amends. The other half is a thought-provoking social commentary about America’s unflinching history with racism and hatred.

2) Miles Doleac!

Writer/director Miles Doleac has put together two well-developed characters for audiences to take journey with. The narrative really centers itself on the two protagonists before diving into the satirical horror. Doleac dives into the suspense as the blood feud between the neighboring fractions escalate into a gripping conclusion.
