A group of teens in financial ruin that decide to rob the local antique store of an ancient amulet. But what they don’t realize is that this tomb is cursed. Robinson makes you understand Tina’s choices and her expressions capture the fear of an unstoppable killer lurking around.

Aided by his engaging chemistry with Tiffany-Ellen Robinson, Victor Toth has such a likable spit as his character Max. You’re rooting for Max and Tina throughout the narrative. Together on-screen, their chemistry delivers a one-two emotional punch.

The Mummy captures an old school spirit because it is made with practical effects. The makeup is fierce with the Mummy’s decayed face. Wrapped in bandages, the Mummy looks gritty and pretty scary.

Dan Allen and Scott Jeffrey have put together a fast-paced script that delivers on the action and horror. You can tell by the look of the killer Mummy that Allen has a love for the old-school elements. Allen is able to take a nostalgia and spin it into a modern take.
