5 Reasons We Love ‘NOS4A2’ Season Premiere Official Trailer!

After announcing the season premiere date at WonderCon 2019, AMC has released the official trailer from their highly anticipated supernatural drama, NOS4A2, starring Ashleigh Cummings and Zachary Quinto. Based on the bestselling novel by Joe Hill, the AMC drama will premiere with the fifth season of Fear The Walking Dead on the very same night. 

Vic McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings) is a gifted young woman who discovers she has a supernatural ability to find lost things. This ability puts her on a collision course with the evil and immortal Charlie Manx (Zachary Quinto). Manx is a supernatural villain who feeds off the souls of children then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland – a twisted place of Manx’s imagination where every day is Christmas Day and unhappiness is against the law.

Here are 5 reasons we love the official trailer from NOS4A2:

If it’s a fight you’re looking for, it’s a fight you’re going to get. The trailer is entitled, “A Fight For Their Souls.” Charlie Manx has his evil. Vic McQueen has her gift. This will be an unforgettable fight for their very souls.

If you love the book as much as I do, the character I found most interesting shows up in the trailer. A clever tribute to Dracula, Manx has his own Renfield, a right-hand man, Bing  Patridge(Olafur Darri). You can spot Bing (Darri) in the driver’s seat of The Wraith and hear him say, “I’ll do anything Mr. Max.”

As we previously mentioned, there are many different versions of Manx throughout the narrative. In “Frozen,” we see Manx (Quinto) in is his old state, with the last strands of white hair about to fall off. This clip features a healthier looking Manx and Quinto being seductively charming. 

The scariest sight has to be how the young boy in the trailer turns into vampire. He begins sickly transforming, as if his blood and energy are being sucked out of him. And then, bang! The fangs pop out!

The ensemble includes Virginia Kull as Linda McQueen, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Chris McQueen and Jahkara Smith (aka Sailor J) as Maggie Leigh. 

NOS4A2 will premiere back-to-back with Fear The Walking Dead on Sunday, June 2 starting at 9:00pm.
