Midnight Releasing delivers a terrifying coming-of-age tale with Wicked Witches, starring Duncan Casey and Justin Marosa. Also known as The Witches of Dumpling Farm, filmmakers Mark Pickering and Martin J Pickering have put together a fantastic nail-biter that plays around with witchcraft.
After being thrown out of his home by his wife for being promiscuous, Mark (Duncan Casey) finds himself back at Dumpling Farm, a place of youthful memories and parties, but things aren’t quite right. His old buddy Ian (Justin Marosa), who has never left the place, is possessed by a group demonic, flesh eating Witches. Using Ian and his farm, these beautiful Witches honey trap Mark and his friends to consume their souls.
Here are 5 reasons why you should see Wicked Witches:
5) Duncan Casey!
As Mark, Duncan Casey captures an emotionally stunted and flawed protagonist seeking redemption. After becoming distraught with his adult self, Mark (Casey) looks into nostalgia and wants to regain his youth through Dumpling Farm. But his nostalgic romp opens up day secrets that Mark isn’t prepared to face.
4) Justin Marosa!
As Ian, Justin Marosa visually portrays a twisted and paranoid mind. The expressions on Marosa immediately tells the audience that something is wrong. Ian adds to brooding mystery of the witches, who seem to have him entranced.
3) The Coven!
These aren’t the typical black cloak wearing and broom stick holding witches from movie history. The High Priestess (Samantha Schnitzler) and her coven of witches (Jasmine Clark, Laura Coleman, Terri Bird, Emily Pickering, Yasmin Olds, Alice Christine Moy, and Catherine Harding) demand flesh from their victims. They love to manipulate, seduce, and play mind games with their prey.
2) The Direction!
Dumpling Farm feels like a character itself, thanks to the cinematography by director Martin J. Pickering. With the blood starts flowing, that’s when this horror flick kicks it up another notch. The ending will shock you to the core!
1) Nail-Biting Horror!
While adding a fresh spin, Wicked Witches delivers nail-biting terror from start to finish! Horror fans will definitely be pleased with this one!
Wicked Witches arrives in theaters, DVD and Digital on August 9th, 2019.
