Back from break and airing right after American Idol, Villain Media has an exclusive sneak peak at  the upcoming episode, Black Art, from ABC’s crime drama, Deception, starring Jack Cutmore-Scott and Ilfenesh Hadera. Get ready to fight crime and learn a few magic tricks alongside magician Cameron Black (Scott) and FBI agent Kay Daniels (Hadera).

As we previously mentioned, the career of superstar Las Vegas magician Cameron Black (Jack Cutmore-Scott) may have been ruined by scandal. But he’s found another place to put his skills of deception, influence and illusion to use; the Federal Bureau of Investigation. As a consulting illusionist, Cameron uses every trick at his disposal — inventing new ones as necessary — to help the government catch the world’s most elusive criminals and solve crimes that defy all explanation.

[SPOILERS: Check out our previous recaps as we catch up on Deception!] Here are 5 reasons we’re excited to watch an all-new Deception on ABC:

5) Watch Our Sneak Peek!

4) What’s In The Vault!?!

In our must-see clip, Dina Clark (Lenora Crichlow) is opening a secret vault and taking out a large book. Gunter Gustafsen (Vinnie Jones) appears to be snooping around, catching her by surprise. What’s the deal with this book and why does Jonathan (Scott) want it so badly?

3) Name Dropping Mike!

In Divination, the fortune teller predicted a new romantic interest would drop in on Dina’s love life. FBI Agent Mike Alvarez (Amaury Nolasco) has been flirtatious with Dina on more than one occasion. There was also an intimate moment between Dina and Jonathan back at the prison.

2) He Knows A Guy!?!

Dina’s big problem is that she has to bring this large book to Jonathan at the prison. Unfortunately, Jonathan has his own problems with the guards after helping a prisoner escape. Guntar says he knows a guy who can help her get past security. Who’s the guy Guntar is talking about?

1) Black Art!

Airing Sunday April 22nd 2018, Black Art follows Cameron as he unexpectedly finds himself reunited with his ex-girlfriend. When he discovers she has been robbed during Fashion Week, Cameron insists on helping Kay with the criminal investigation.

Deception airs on ABC this Sunday at 10pm. After Black Art, a special Deception episode airs Tuesday, April 24th, 2018 at 10pm, before another all-new installment makes its way on its regular Sunday night and time.
