Blindspot, season 3, Blindspot Season 3 Premiere

NBC presents the latest poster for the Season 3 premiere of the action-packed drama, Blindspot, starring Jaimie Alexander and Sullivan Stapleton. After the shocking Season 2 cliffhanger, Jane Doe (Alexander) and Kurt Weller (Stapleton) are back together solving the cases behind the mystery tattoos.

As we previously mentioned, Blindspot follows Jane Doe (Alexander), who has no memory of who she is. Jane’s only clues are covered all her tattooed body. With the help of FBI agent Kurt Weller (Stapleton) and his Critical Incident Response Group, Jane has to figure what the mysterious tattoos mean before Sandstorm completes their mission.

[SPOILERS AHEAD] Here are our 5 thoughts on the third season poster of Blindspot:

5. Starting After That Cliffhanger!

In the season finale, years have passed since Kurt and Jane stopped Sandstorm’s grand plan for Phase Two.They may have stopped Phase Two from being completed but Jane’s glowing neck tattoo warns them another sinister plan is in the works. The glowing neck tattoo plays an important part in the upcoming story arc.

4. Weller’s Team Is MIA Too!

In the shocking cliffhanger, Weller reveals Tasha (Audrey Esparza), Edgar Reade (Rob Brown), and Patterson (Ashley Johnson) and are all missing! They have been kidnapped and need to be rescued! How the hell did that happen!?!

3. The Mystery of the Tattoos!

Creator/showrunner Martin Gero tells E! online, “The fun thing is — and this might be a mild season three spoiler — the new layer of tattoos does reference the bottom layer of tattoos. It does become a three-dimensional chess game, refreshing the old information while giving new information as well.”

2. Weller’s Mad!

FBI agent Kurt Weller (Stapleton) looks really mad in the poster doesn’t he? Is he mad at Jane? At himself? What does his facial expression mean?!?

1. The Tagline!

The tagline states, “A new body of clues. A new threat uncovered.” Has Roman (Luke Mitchell)  become the Big Bad that he’s now able to take down all three?!?

Season 3 of Blindspot starts on NBC October 27, 2017 at 8pm.
