Die-hard fans are anxiously awaiting for NBC to air the action-packed Season 3 premiere of Blindspot, starring Jaimie Alexander and Sullivan Stapleton. After the shocking Season 2 cliffhanger, Jane Doe (Alexander) and Kurt Weller (Stapleton) are back together solving the cases behind the mystery tattoos.
As we previously mentioned, Blindspot follows Jane Doe (Alexander), who has no memory of who she is. Jane’s only clues are covered all her tattooed body. With the help of FBI agent Kurt Weller (Stapleton) and his Critical Incident Response Group, Jane has to figure what the mysterious tattoos mean before Sandstorm completes their mission.
[SPOILERS AHEAD] Here are our 5 reasons why we have to see Blindspot:
5) That Cliffhanger!
In the season two finale, years have passed since Kurt and Jane stopped Sandstorm’s grand plan for Phase Two.They may have stopped Phase Two from being completed but Jane’s glowing neck tattoo warns them another sinister plan is in the works. The glowing neck tattoo plays an important part in the upcoming story arc.
4) What Happened To Weller’s Team!?!
In the shocking cliffhanger, Weller reveals Tasha (Audrey Esparza), Edgar Reade (Rob Brown), and Patterson (Ashley Johnson) have gone missing! They have been kidnapped and need to be rescued! How the hell did that happen!?!
3) They Got Married!?!
I really hope creator/showrunner Martin Gero fills in the blanks and explains how Kurt and Jane ended up married. With the flash forward too, Jane is meeting up with old friends, but the years have changed them. For better? I don’t know but we’ll have to see.
2) So soltanto un po’ di italiano!
The cast and crew went to Italy to film the third season premiere. I really hope I just wrote and said, “ I only speak a little Italian.”
1) The New Big Bad!
Who’s the new threat this season? Has Roman (Luke Mitchell) become the new Big Bad? Will Jane and Weller be able to stop him if he’s no long Mr. Nice Guy? I can’t wait to find out!
Season 3 of Blindspot starts on NBC October 27, 2017 at 8pm.
