Fox Home Entertainment brings Prison Break: The Event Series onto DVD and Blu-Ray. The fifth season of the hit Fox series brings back Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, and Sarah Wayne Callies in the thrilling nine episode arc.
In the Event Series, Michael Scofield (Miller) may have faked his death after he’s discovered in a Yemen prison. Determined to find his brother, Lincoln (Purcell) enlists C-Note’s (Rockmond Dunbar) help to travel halfway across the world onto dangerous territory. Meanwhile, Sara (Callies) reunites with old faces as a hidden enemy strikes back against everyone Michael has ever loved.
Here are 5 reasons why you should get Prison Break: The Event Series on DVD and Blu-Ray:
5. The Chemistry Is Still There!
Just like Twin Peaks, the revival of Prison Break wouldn’t have worked without the return of its original leads. No matter what role they play, whether they are playing super-villains in The Flash or anti-heroes in Prison Break, Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell have such an appealing chemistry when they’re on-screen together. These two bring out the best in each other in whatever project they’re in.
4. Sara Tancredi’s Back!
Before Sarah Wayne Callies was leading the resistance against the alien invaders in Colony, she was Sara Tancredi at Fox River Penitentiary. Sara has never never forgotten her true love as she moved on from Michael’s supposed death. I couldn’t wait to see the reunion between Michael and Sara!
3. Inbar Lavi
Inbar Lavi stole our hearts and Jax Teller’s in her unforgettable appearance as Winsome in Sons of Anarchy. Now as Sheba, the Israeli actress dominates in a tough-as-nails role that showcases her raw feistiness and eye-catching charisma.
2. That Ending!

I still couldn’t believe that ending with Whip ( Augustus Prew)! I’m still asking myself, was it all part of Scofield ’s plan? As a fan, I’m very happy that Robert Knepper gets to have the last scene as T-Bag. In a twisted way, you’re rooting for the bad guy!
