Here are 5 reasons you should read Star Wars Adventures Vol. 1: Heroes of the Galaxy:
5) It’s Freaking Star Wars!!

Get your lightsabers ready! If you love the franchise, you’ll appreciate which character shows up. Whether you are a newbie or an avid follower, the artwork is a major delight.
4) Rey!
We instantly fell in love with Rey (Daisy Ridley) when she started flying the Millennium Falcon! Now on the cover, Rey is part of the new characters we want to get to know more of in “Better the Devil You Know.” Everybody’s wondering if she’s related to Obi Wan Kenobi or my theory is she just happens to be Palpatine’s long-lost daughter. With such eye-popping colors, Rey is captured quite beautifully in the artwork.
3) The Creative Team!

From the writers who truly understand the Star Wars universe, Cavan Scott (Star Wars: Adventures in Wild Space) and Landry Q. Walker (Star Wars: The Force Awakens: Tales From a Galaxy Far, Far Away) have their own adventurous space stories tell. You’re going to love the fantastic artwork from Derek Charm (Jughead), especially Lei’s tale, “The Flat Mountain of Yavin,” from artist Elsa Charretier & writer Pierrick Colinet (Star Wars: Forces of Destiny).
2) A Great Collection!
Volume One collects the first two issues from IDW’s ongoing Star Wars Adventures series, and has the special preview issue that recently debuted at San Diego Comic-Con.
