DC Universe continues the critically acclaimed Titans with Season 2, Episode 3: Ghosts, starring Brenton Thwaites and Teagan Croft. After the first season finale, Dick Grayson (Thawites) hopes to train Raven (Croft) and Beast Boy (Ryan Potter) as new members to the superhero group he’s trying to build.
After learning Rose (Chelsea T. Zhang) is actually Deathstroke’s daughter, Grayson starts to remember what happened in the past. Deathstroke blames the Titans for his son’s death, but Rose accuses her father of killing her brother, Jericho. Grayson reluctantly tells Hawk (Alan Ritchson), Dove (Minka Kelly), and Donna Troy (Connor Leslie) about the connections to Dr. Light and their past.
After her stakeout with Donna, Kory (Anna Diop) was kidnapped by her former bodyguard. Though she was kept in restraints, the bodyguard releases Kory as his prisoner. If she returns home with him, Kory’s sister will not send any more men to Earth. Kory finally gets to her phone and tells Donna what has happened.
While Kory is out on the town with her former bodyguard, Doctor Light is already planning his next move with Deathstorke (Esai Morales). Raven ends up in a sparring session with Jason Todd (Curran Walters) and Beast Boy. After Jason ends up hitting Raven with his bo, she summons up her demonic powers, which frightens her teammates.
Elsewhere, Hawk reveals to Dove that he misses being part of a team. Dove reminds Hawk that whenever he puts on the costume, he goes back to doing drugs. His sobriety will be tested when Beast Boy pinpoints where Doctor Light is absorbing the electricity. Jason feels left out when the other Titans visit the empty stadium.
With the Titans crew surrounding the stadium, Doctor Light is already one step ahead. After hitting them with his blasts of light energy, Doctor Light tries to make his getaway. With Hawk down after getting hit, Donna uses her magic lasso to hit Doctor Light with a motorcycle. Unfortunately, a bus full of innocent civilians arrives at the fight, distracting Grayson from capturing his enemy.
After Doctor Light disappears, Hawk ends up blaming Grayson for his escape. Making matters worse, Jason starts a fights with Grayson but gets knocked down after one punch. Rose then shows off her sword skills as she starts a sparring session with the Titans team leader.
Raven makes a desperate call to Kory, asking for her help. Raven is afraid of the dark presence inside of her and has been struggling to keep it down. Realizing Raven is need of her care, Kory traps her bodyguard in her spaceship and runs off to Titans Tower.
Jason offers to help with Beast Boy’s surveillance and discovers Doctor Light’s secret hiding place. Needing a win, Jason convinces Beast Boy to go with him to the abandoned subway station. Beast Boy is reluctant being in the dark and creepy tunnel because Grayson doesn’t know where they are.
After taking down Doctor Light, Jason screams after getting himself ambushed by Deathstroke.
