Jamie Madrox and Monoxide are back at it again with the horror and comedy in Twiztid Haunted High-Ons: The Darkness Rises (Source Point Press). Check out this sneak peek at the first issue from the comic book starring Twiztid, the horrorcore rap group from Detroit, Michigan.
As we previously mentioned, imagine Jamie Madrox and Monoxide carving out a comfortable side-gig for themselves as fake ghost hunters. The horrorcore rap duo happens to stumble upon a routine house call. Not only do they find themselves discovering a ghost, there’s also a killer demon to boot. Hijinks and horror ensue from Twiztid!

5) Sneak Peek!
Released on his official Instagram, writer Dirk Manning teases, “Here’s a sneak peek at some of the inks from the first issue of TWIZTID HAUNTED HIGH-ONS: “The Darkness Rises”
4) The Darkness!
Manning adds, “After introducing you all to this world in that opening one shot last October we are now driving in with a full mini series that’s going to contain a lot more laughs and, honestly, a lot more horror. Get ready, fam: The Darkness is coming…”
3) What We Know!
Alongside Manning, Artist Marianna Pescosta and Colorist Alessandro de Fornasari will be back agin as the creative team. During our New York Comic Con interview, Manning revealed to Villain Media his favorite part of the one-shot special, “One of the main characters in the book is a ghost. The way Marianna and Alessandro drew and colored a translucent ghost, it’s probably one of my favorite parts of the book!”
2) Twitztid!
Also at the New York Comic Con, Jamie Madrox and Monoxide dished that there would be more issues coming forward.
“JM: It’s to lay the premise for the characters and who they are and what they’re going to do in this universe.
M: We just got in the comic dorm.
JM: We’re just here! We’re not ready to leave!
M: We’re not leaving!
JM: Hell no!”
