DC Universe continues the highly anticipated third season of Young Justice, with the latest installment of Outsiders, in Episode 6: Rescue Op, starring the voices of Jesse McCartney and Khary Payton. The superhero team is caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy.
Brion and Halo start making friends with Forager, who also happens to be an exile like them. Nightwing arrives at Superboy’s farm with new information. Halo’s real name is Gabrielle and Brion’s sister may have just murdered someone with Black Spider.
Nightwing reveals his intel to Brion that his metahuman sister may still be alive. She may also have joined the League of Shadows. Brion wants to go to the island, the headquarters of the League, but Nightwing needs more time and resources.
Knowing his sister may still be alive, Brion convinces Halo and Forager to join him on his secret mission. They use Sphere to take them to the island but their entrance isn’t so secretive. Nightwing realizes too late that the Sphere is gone but knows where the team is going.
On the island, Sensei’s meditation is ruined by Brion’s sudden arrival. Sensei repeats himself, the sister is not on the island, but Brion refuses to believe him. Sensei ends up killing Halo and breaking her neck.
Held in their prison, Brion holds onto Halo’s dead body. All of a sudden, Halo’s body changes color and resets its broken neck. Halo has resurrected herself just when Nightwing and the others come crashing in.
Halting the battle, Ra’s al Ghul reveals he has left the League of Shadows for personal reasons. He refuses to say though who has taken over as leader. Though Nightwing gives them a scalding, Forager, Halo, and Brion want to stick around and join the team.
Ra’s al Ghul is actually holding Damien baby on the island and has brainwashed Jason Todd into his minion.
Young Justice: Outsiders continues on DC Universe.
