Just before its highly anticipated season premiere, AMC will be holding a must-attend panel for their supernatural drama, NOS4A2, at BookCon 2019. Based on the bestselling novel by Joe Hill, the AMC drama will premiere with the fifth season of Fear The Walking Dead on the very same night.
Vic McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings) is a gifted young woman who discovers she has a supernatural ability to find lost things. This ability puts her on a collision course with the evil and immortal Charlie Manx (Zachary Quinto). Manx is a supernatural villain who feeds off the souls of children then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland – a twisted place of Manx’s imagination where every day is Christmas Day and unhappiness is against the law.

Jami O’Brien and Joe Hill will vey likely discuss the painstaking process of adapting the 2013 critically acclaimed novel. In my honest opinion, I’m glad they didn’t cram the book into a two-hour movie; it wouldn’t do justice to the characters. So I’m looking forward to hear them talk about their page to screen adaptation in the television format.
2) The Hype!
After watching and analyzing the trailers, I can’t wait to hear more about the AMC drama. Viewers even got to watch how Zachary Quinto becomes the antagonist Charlie Manx in the makeup chair.

At Book Con 2019, the NOS4A2 panel will take place at New York City’s Jacob Javits Center on Saturday Jun 01, 2019, 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM in Room 1E10.
NOS4A2 will premiere back-to-back with Fear The Walking Dead on Sunday, June 2 starting at 9:00pm.
