NBC has announced the official premiere date for the highly anticipated Season 4 return of Blindspot, starring Jaimie Alexander and Sullivan Stapleton. After the shocking events of Season 3, will Jane Doe (Alexander) and Kurt Weller (Stapleton) be able to work together to solve the mystery tattoos?

As we previously mentioned, Jane Doe (Alexander) found herself mysteriously covered with bioluminescent tattoos. Jane’s only clues are covered all her tattooed body. With the help of her husband, Kurt Weller (Stapleton), and the FBI’s Critical Incident Response Group, Jane has to figure what these mysterious tattoos mean before a major disaster occurs.

[SPOILERS AHEAD!!] Here are 5 reasons we’re excited for Blindspot’s return:

5) That Cliffhanger!

During the action-packed third season finale, Jane was rushed to the hospital after her tearful confrontation with Roman (Luke Mitchell). Unfortunately, when she woke up in the hospital bed, it wasn’t Jane but her alter ego, Remi. With her memories gone, Remi thinks her mission is still to infiltrate the FBI and destroy Kurt Weller and his team!

4) New Look!

As we previously mentioned, Alexander teased her luscious curls as  her celebrity hairstylist added extensions to the new hairdo, Alexander wrote, “New season. New look. #Blindspot #Season4…”

3) Roman!?!

From beyond the grave, Roman (Mitchell) left a video message for Jane, warning about the poison invading her body. Time is running out for Kurt and the others to find the antidote. How many videos did Roman leave for the team?

2) New Big Bad?

Tasha (Audrey Esparza) appears to have cozied up to Blake Crawford (Tori Anderson), who now runs her father’s evil organization. After breaking up with Reade (Rob Brown), using him as a one-night stand, Tasha has no more loyalties to the FBI and the CIA. Where does that leave her with Patterson (Ashley Johnson) though?

1) Kurt!

Kurt Weller (Stapleton) was in a very bad situation medical-wise  after his stitches opened up and wounds started bleeding. Will he tell the love of his life that there was no baby and she wasn’t pregnant? Who’s listening to him, Jane or Remi?

Season 4 of Blindspot will return to NBC on Friday, October 12th,2018 at 8pm.
