Wild Eye Releasing delivers a terrifying werewolf movie that doesn’t skimp on the gore and effects with Bonehill Road, starring Linnea Quigley, Gary Kent, and David E. McMahon. Writer/director Todd Sheets put together a solid cast that shines along with the scary werewolf elements.

Emily (Eli DeGeer) and Eden (Ana Rojas-Plumberg) Stevens escape one violent situation only to dive head first into another. Terrified and alone they are stranded in the dark woods only to be chased into a horrific scene in a house or horrors. They must work together to get out alive. But what is worse? What is on the inside or out?

Here are 5 reasons why you should see Bonehill Road:

5) Eli DeGeer!

Right from the movie’s beginning, actress Eli DeGeer nails the dynamic chemistry with her co-star. The mother/daughter relationship is what keeps the narrative engaging. After suffering from an abusive relationship, DeGeer presents a tortured chararcter, Emily, who struggles to be a strong parent.

4) Ana Rojas-Plumberg!

Engaging in her own right, Ana Rojas-Plumberg is quite expressive in Eden’s emotional arc. Plumberg gives a lot of heart and passion in the daughter role. She’s quite believable as a protagonist when the horror ramps up  later on.

3) The Practical Effects!

The prosthetic/makeup effects are reminiscent of The Howling and An American Werewolf in London. Yes the practical effects have a throwback because the camera captures the immense details. Viewers will get to the the grotesque teeth and hairy skin in extreme closeups.

2) Linnea Quigley!

Raise your hand if you are a huge fan, like me, of Return of the Living Dead! So awesome to see Linnea Quigley again, this time in her role as Suzy.

1) A Must See Werewolf Movie!

With two solid leading stars, Bonehill Road switches back and forth between a family drama and a werewolf movie. Not only do you get the scares, viewers also get two worthwhile performances to watch.

Bonehill Road is available on Digital and DVD.
