Top Dollar Films and The Darkest Machines have released the trailer to their slasher/police procedural thriller, Cry Havoc, starring Robert Bronzi and Emily Sweet. Check out what happens when a rogue policeman takes on a masked psychopath!
According to Bloody-Disgusting, the plot follows an ambitious reporter (Emily Sweet) is given an exclusive interview with one of the FBI’s Most Wanted. She travels to a secret compound to meet the wealthy Voyeur (Richard Tyson), who is suspected of having paid to secure the release of the psychotic serial killer known only as “Havoc”.
Here are 5 reasons why we love the Cry Havoc trailer!
5) It’s A Sequel!
The masked madman you see eviscerating his victims with a chainsaw made his first appearance in Playing with Dolls: Havoc. In Playing with Dolls, the serial killer known as Havoc escaped from prison. Havoc then terrorized the unsuspecting lovers at their cabin getaway.
4) Robert Bronzi!
As we previously mentioned, I’m really excited to see Robert Bronzi make his own prison break in Escape From Death Block 13. In the footage, we see Bronzi as the one god cop going rogue in order to stop the masked killer. In the midst of gore and mayhem, Bronzi is dishing out the bullets!
3) Death Kiss Reunion!
Robert Bronzi also reunites with writer/director Rene Perez, the filmmaker behind revenge thriller Death Kiss. Don’t hold this on me, but I think I also spotted Death Kiss actress Eva Hamilton in the footage. Can’t wait to see what this team-up does here in Cry Havoc!
2) Charles Bronson!
With Bronzi’s uncanny resemblance to the iconic actor, it looks like Charles Bronson is fighting his very own Jason Voorhees, from the Friday the 13th movies. It’s Dirty Harry meets Friday the 13th, why didn’t anyone think of this before!?!
