USA Network continues Season 8 of the popular lawyer drama, Suits, starring Gabriel Macht and Katherine Heigl, with Episode 15: Stalking Horse. Now that Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) has left the firm, is lawyer Harvey Specter (Macht) ready to get back in the game and take on new court cases?
Since we last left them, Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) was mugged at gunpoint before being named Managing Partner. Harvey discovers Thomas Kessler (Sasha Roiz) and Donna (Sarah Rafferty) have been really cozy with each other. Katrina (Amanda Schull) almost ended up kissing Brian while holding his baby in her arms.
While Katrina (Amanda Schull) plans on helping Brian land his own client, Samantha (Heigel) attempts to help Louis confront his attacker in court. Unfortunately, the mugger manages to get away with the crime, based on a technicality.
Meanwhile, Thomas Kessler is excited about his new big expansion deal . Harvey though discovers his client, Simon Lowe, wants to shake Thomas out of the deal. Simon warns Harvey about telling anyone he knows about his setup, because of their confidentiality clause.
Unhappy with the court’s decision, Samantha and Louis think about taking matters into their own hands. Realizing what the two are up to, Robert Zane (Wendall Pierce) warns Louis about the consequences. There are things that Robert and Samantha did that keep him up at night.
Louis doesn’t want to strip the mugger away from his daughter. But to protect his family. Louis threatens the mugger to confess. Robert still isn’t pleased with the outcome and warns Samantha about her vigilante habit. one day, Samantha’s actions will come back to bite her one day.
After landing the client, Katrina and Brian’s relationship takes a nosedive. Brian’s wife is starting to suspect an affair. Because Brian has to save his marriage, he has to leave the firm. Knowing Katrina’s heart is broken, Louis allows Brian to leave with their client.
Because he revealed to Donna (Sarah Rafferty) what he knows, Harvey doesn’t realize she’s going to confess to her lover. Thomas ends up confronting Simon and their deal goes sour. This breaks Harvey’s confidentiality agreement with Simon, who threatens to sue.
While Donna and Harvey end up arguing, Daniel Hardman (David Costabile) shows up to make matters worse.
Suits continues for one more Wednesday at 10pm on USA Network.
