Filled with terrifying adventure and dangerous wonder, Isola #4 (Image Comics) dives into hidden truths and secret origins of its deep mythology. With every page drawn quite distinctively, Isola does a phenomenal job at its own world-building!
The tale of Queen Olwyn’s transformation and the treachery of her brother, Prince Asher.
Here are 5 reasons why you should read Isola #4:

In the first installment, captain of the Royal Guard has fled the capital city with the Queen of Maar. Unfortunately, Captain Rook was separated from the Queen. The Queen screamed out, “Murderer” at Rook after having a spiritual awakening.
4) A Major Revelation!
Writers Brenden Fletcher and Karl Kerschl steer into tragic Shakespearean territory in Queen Olwyn’s flashbacks. Queen Olwyn’s past is driven by a brother corrupted by power. The lettering by Aditya Booker is unique and stylish as certain words are capitalized to heighten the tragedy.
3) The Artwork!
Notice how artists Karl Kerschl and Msassyk play around with the character designs of the antagonists. At the climax, Captain Rook finds herself surrounded by werewolf and bear hybrids. It looks like a human-shaped being wearing a wolf’s head!
2) The Colors!
Queen Olwyn’s transformation is divided into dark purple and bright blue hues. These colors are important because they match the fur when Olwyn is in beast mode. I liked how the pages have a yellow tone mixed with the blue shades.
