Ghost-Rider Hulu, Marvel

Marvel’s Ghost Rider, with Gabriel Luna reprising the role, will be revving up his supernatural car again for Hulu. Created by Felipe Smith and Tradd Moore, Robbie Reyes will be getting his own horror TV series as he joins the fight against the dark and evil forces.

Robbie Reyes (Gabriel Luna), the quintessential antihero, lives on the Texas/Mexico border, consumed by hellfire and supernaturally bound to a demon. When he unleashes the Rider, Robbie brings vengeance for the innocents he encounters, but struggles controlling the power he wields.

Here are 5 reasons we’re excited for Marvel’s Ghost-Rider:

5) Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D!

MARVEL’S HULK AND THE AGENTS OF S.M.A.S.H. – “Spirit of Vengeance” – While escorting Abomination to stand trial for his crimes, the Hulks run into Ghost Rider, who has come to make both Abomination and Red atone for the wrongful deeds of their past. Marvel Universe on Disney XD. (Disney XD)

Arriving in his flaming Dodge Charger, The Ghost-Rider served his own brand of justice when he made his live-action appearance on the fourth season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Variety mentions this will be a completely new iteration of the character. This is a great way in my honest opinion to bring in new viewers.

4) Gabriel Luna!

Gabriel Luna had such a leading man presence in the sports/spy drama, Matador. Luna was such a engaging standout during his run on on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. With James Cameron back with the sci-fi franchise, I’m really excited to see what Luna does in Terminator: Dark Fate!

3) It Will Scare The Sh*T Out of You!

MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. – “World’s End” – With the surprising emergence of Ghost Rider, Coulson and the team attempt to stop Aida from ending the world on the exciting season finale of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” (ABC/Eric McCandless) GABRIEL LUNA

Showrunner Ingrid Escajeda tells Marvel, “This story hits every note for me—my love for grounded yet conflicted characters and my desire to scare the $&!# out of people! It’s important to me to find a take that thrills existing fans as well as wider audiences, and I believe we’ve done just that!”

2) Justified!

Ingrid Escajeda was a producer and writer on my favorite TV show, Justified. I just loved her dialogue in the episode, The Trash and the Snake! I’m super hyped she’ll be showrunning!

1) Spirits Of Vengeance!

With Marvel’s Helstrom also on board at Hulu, Marvel Television’s Jeph Loeb states, “Paul [Zbyszewski] and Ingrid [Escajeda] are crafting gripping adventures into fear that live in our SPIRITS OF VENGEANCE cornerstone.”

Marvel’s Ghost Rider will arrive on Hulu in 2020.
