The CW Network has announced the official dates of the upcoming Arrowverse crossover featuring actress Ruby Rose as Batwoman. The Flash, Supergirl, and Arrow will meet the new DC Comics heroine, along with a special guest, in their upcoming crossover event.
Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence. But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.
Here are 5 reasons why we’re excited for the upcoming Arrowverse crossover:

As we previously mentioned, Rose has landed the titular role in Batwoman. After her first appearance in the upcoming crossover, the CW sees potential for the character as a standalone series. We will have to wait and see how the Arrowverse translates Batwoman’s red and black costume onto the TV screen!
4) The Dates!
The highly anticipated crossover will begin on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 8 pm, kicking off with The Flash, on a new night and time. It will then continue on Monday, Dec. 10 with Arrow in its regular slot at 8 pm, and conclude the following night at 8 pm with Supergirl, which has moved to Sunday nights this fall.
3) Lois Lane!
According to Entertainment Weekly, Supergirl executive producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner stated, “We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to the Arrowverse. They add, “This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters.”
2) Superman!
Tyler Hoechlin will also reprise his role as the Man of Steel. Superman will appear in all three episodes. The Flash and the Green Arrow will meet Supergirl’s cousin? But will they start off as friends or foes? Because heroes usually have to fight each other before teaming up!
1) Flash & Superman!
Grant Gustin mentions, “To see Flash and Superman together and to be one of the guys in the suits is something I’m definitely pretty excited about!”
The Flash returns Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 8 pm. Supergirl returns Sunday, Oct. 14 at 8 pm. Arrow returns Monday, Oct. 15 at 8 pm.
