Burns the Dragon and Brandon Fancie of Lucid Tattooing and Design are expected to land on the Guiness World Record for Longest Tattoo. At the upcoming Ottawa-Gatineau Tattoo Expo, this determined team of two are inviting spectators to witness awesome levels of pain-proof ink absorption.
Check out the history behind their Longest Tattoo attempt. The first attempt took place in Vancouver in 2015. Their attempt failed due to malfunctioning recording equipment. Despite completing and beating the current record at the time – at around 54.5 hours – it was unfortunately not accepted. So let’s see if lightning really does strike twice!
Here are 5 reasons why we’re excited for Burns the Dragon and Brandon Fancie of Lucid Tattooing and Design to break the record:
Burns the Dragon is a modified human and is currently moving towards being a “dragon-human hybrid” through selective body modification.
Artist Brandon Fancie hails from Sylvan Lake, AB. He is also the driving force behind the Lucid Design and Tattoo studio.
3) THE PARTNERSHIP!
Though Burns has had minimal work done prior to his collaboration with Brandon, the majority of the illustration that adorns his body came from their unique partnership.
2) Tattoo History Is Being Made!
The live streams can be found on Burns The Dragon TV on YouTube, and @VancouverSilverman on TikTok. @burnsthedragon on Instagram. That’s right, who doesn’t love TikTok!
The Ottawa-Gatineau Tattoo Expo will be held on November 12-14, 2021.
