Gravitas Ventures, Seraph Films, along with co-production company AWOL Studios, have released the pulse-pounding trailer to The Nightmare Gallery, starring Amber Benson. Check out the footage of the upcoming horror flick that teases the rawness and intensity of Amber Benson’s performance.
According to SlashFilm, an anthropology professor, Dr. Samantha Rand (Benson), investigates the sudden, suspicious disappearance of her star pupil. A mysterious collection of occult artifacts leads her on a nightmarish journey. Rand will face an unspeakable truth that will threaten her career, her marriage, and her sanity.
Here are 5 reasons why we love the trailer to The Nightmare Gallery :
5) The Rabbit Hole!
Gene Blalock, director and founder of Seraph Films, explains, “This trailer offers a glimpse into the horrors and heartbreak that build as Amber’s character dives further down the dark rabbit hole of obsession.”
4) She’s Raw & Brilliant!
Recalling how the project started out as a successful Kickstarter campaign, Blalock adds, “While the trailer showcases the tremendous effort by many to make this film a reality, the raw and brilliant intensity Amber infuses into her character is simply mind-blowing.”
3) Pushing The Envelope!
Charles Hilliard, executive producer and founder of AWOL Studios, mentions, “Films can delight and inspire, yet we are passionate about pushing the envelope and using this powerful medium to advance important cultural conversations.”
2) Creepy & Scary!
The trailer does a fantastic job capturing the scares, make-up, and performances from the upcoming horror movie. Notice how Amber Benson looks like she’s physically burnt out and mentally unhinged. Under a green glow, a group of people start hurling blood (Ewww!). And what the hell is on that girl’s face!?!
1) The Cast!
As we previously mentioned, joining Benson in the cast are actor Kevin Chamberlin (Road to Perdition) and Mat Devine, the former front man of the rock band, Kill Hannah. Chamberlin co-stars as a psychiatrist who assists in the professor’s investigation.
The Nightmare Gallery hits VOD starting on June 18, 2019.
