First Look, Titans

After staking the Fall 2019 season for the highly anticipated Season 2 premiere, DC UNIVERSE delivers the “first look” of Titans, starring Brenton Thwaites and Anna Diop. Check out the exciting slate of  heroes and villains who will pop up for the sophomore season.

TITANS follows a group of young soon-to-be super heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. Dick Grayson (Thwaites) emerges from the shadows to become leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire (Diop), Beast Boy (Ryan Potter), Raven (Teagan Croft), and others.

SPOILERS! Here are 5 reasons we’re love the Season 2 trailer for Titans:

5) Buce Wayne!

As we previously mentioned, Iain Glen will be playing playboy billionaire Bruce Wayne. It’s amazing how good the writing and acting is between Glen and Thwaites. Notice how Glen and Thwaites have the father/son dynamic down. While Bruce (Glen) gives his fatherly advice, Dick (Thwaites) rolls his eyes.

4) Superboy!

After the end credits of the first season finale, Superboy (Joshua Orpin) popped up int the teaser. Superboy (Opin) had escaped from his cage and took the dog, Krypto, with him. The first thing Superboy wants to do after getting out of prison; take a shower.

3) Everybody’s In Costume!

So awesome to see Donna Troy (Conor Leslie), Hawk (Alan Ritchson), and Dove (Minka Kelly) in the trailer! Ritchson and Kelly were amazing in their flashback-centric installment. And of course, Curran Walters steals the show as Jason Todd, the second Robin.

2) Deathstroke!

Esai Morales plays the infamous Slade Wilson (aka Deathstroke). Chella Man will play Joseph Wilson (aka Jericho) and Chelsea Zhang will play Rose Wilson (aka the Ravager). I really think that’s Rose (Zhang) taking out the cops and shooting at them in the action-packed standoff.

1) That Cliffhanger!

In the first season finale, Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) found himself seduced by the dark side. Trigon (Seamus Dever) has resurfaced as Rachel’s father and is intent on destroying as many planets as he can. Will Donna Troy (Conor Leslie) and Starfire (Anna Diop) arrive in time to save the former Robin?

Season 2 of Titans premieres on DC Universe Friday, September 6th, 2019.
