We Summon Darkness Image, Alexandra Daddario

Highland Film Group and The Fyzz present the first image from We Summon The Darkness, starring Alexandra Daddario, Amy Forsyth, and Maddie Hasson. Somewhere in the Midwest, a killing spree is taking place and the body count is building because of a twisted satanic cult.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the plot follows three best friends as they embark on a road trip to a heavy-metal show, where they bond with three aspiring musicians and head off to one of the girls’ country home for an afterparty. A night of fun and youthful debauchery takes a deadly turn as bodies begin to pile up, with each side thinking the other hides the killer.

Here are 5 reasons we love the first look at We Summon The Darkness:

5) She’s Looks Badass!

Alexandra Daddario will be playing the role of Alexis. The girls’ leader, Alexis invites the group of boys to her parents’ estate. As you can see in the photo, Daddario definitely rocks the leather jacket and looks very badass in black!

4) The Gang!

Part of Alexis’ leather-clad gang, Val (Maddie Hasson) and Beverly (Amy Forsyth) look like they’re ready to crack some knuckles and start trouble! I love how Hasson’s Val is the only one smiling int he picture. Forsyth’s Bev looks like she’s ready to klick butt!

3) Alita!

Actor Keean Johnson can currently be seen in Robert Rodriguez’s Alita: Battle Angel. If you haven’t seen the sci-fi action blockbuster, make sure you see the visual spectacle in IMAX. He will be playing the role of Mark in this horror flick.

2) Marc Meyers

After adapting Derf Backderf ‘s graphic novel, My Friend Dahmer, Marc Meyers is sitting once again in the director’s chair on this one. I’m really interested in seeing how Meyers directs the screenplay by Alan Trezza. So far, this looks really good!

1) Hit You Like A Ton Of Bricks!

Playing the lead singer of a ‘80s metal band, Logan Miller describes the movie to Da Man, “We shot that movie so quickly, but the effect of what we’re doing in the movie is going to hit you like a ton of bricks. I love metal music and to have a horror-thriller set within that era is going to be so much fun.”

No word yet when We Summon The Darkness will hit theaters.
